Some things live inside us for years — felt but unspoken. Known, but not yet visible. I've spent a lifetime learning to receive what people carry, and to make it into something real.

A commission begins there. With yours.

Through conversation, I find the thread — the colour, the feeling, the truth you want to live with. What follows is entirely private, entirely intimate, entirely yours. You'll be alongside the making — present for the journey from first mark to finished piece.

02. THE EXPERIENCE

A journey made together, from first word to final reveal.

A conversation — Over coffee, by video, phone, or message — where you share your story. What you're drawn to, what you want to hold, what matters. There are no wrong answers. This is where your commission begins.

From that conversation, I'll shape a proposal — size, materials, colour direction, the timeline that's right for both of us. A 50% deposit begins the work.

The work takes shape. Every stage is documented — held for your collectors booklet. Some collectors like to see the work emerging, others prefer the reveal. We'll agree at the start what feels right for you.

When the work is complete, I'll share the final reveal — your first sight of the finished piece. Once you're ready, it travels to you, carefully packaged, ready to hang, ready to stay. Inside: your collectors booklet.

TIMELINE

Most commissions complete within 8-12 weeks. You will be given an accurate timeframe for delivery on booking. I take a small number of commissions at a time to ensure each piece receives full attention.

03. THE COLLECTORS BOOKLET

An addition so considered, it has become inseparable from the work itself.

Handmade, hand-printed, hand-stitched. A5, embossed with the studio mark, arriving in its own sleeve. Inside: images from the journey of making. Commentary on the work and the story it holds. A poem, written in response to what you shared and what the work became. A certificate of authenticity. It is a keepsake. A document. A piece of premium craft that is, in itself, a work of art. Not an add-on. Not an afterthought. The booklet is part of what a commission from this studio is — because the work holds your story in textile form, and the booklet holds it in words. Together, they become the complete thing.
