THE STORY OF YOUR WORKCrafting the stories of our human experience
Most beauty resides in the unfinished and the broken; Unfold Into Me (2024) explores the process of finding, recognising and accepting our true selves beyond the distraction. It honours facing our inner world; recognising self-destructive patterns, unmet needs and self sabotage, whilst finding meditative ways to joyfully learn and creatively heal.
To the brave ones: who dare to look inside of themselves, to face ugly truths and accept their permeable and unfinished lives. To those who seek vulnerability and find the courage to trust that their own process is already a masterful artform.
For the journey. Because you are already enough.
THE WORKSComposition and Form
Multiple geometric elements conjoining; overlapping and supporting: fusing together in minimalist chaos.
Quiet and simple; yet crowded and complex. A juxtaposing tapestry - purposely unfinished: representing the open threads of our lives.
3 dimensional relief and essence is created over a deep edged canvas, ink washed whilst natural ink washes accentuate relief further. The result, a deeply structured and 3Dimensional essence on canvas.
THE DETAILSColour
An introspective exploration of natural muted earth tones, curated and crafted using natural pigments, inks and dyes.
Layers of raw natural ink washes in elemental hues create clean and natural shades whilst celebrating the pure and raw texture of the canvas.
Natural muted sage dances with warm beiges; all underpinned by rich deep browns and olives. A grounding and calming natural palette exploring earth tones - with shifting movement of light and shade.

THE DETAILSDetailing
Fine machine and thick hand dyed stitch combinations create further prominence in separate facets: representing the imaginary sections of our lives. We often spend our lives in boxes and ticking them; as distractions from the whole.
UNFOLD INTO MEa final ‘unfinished’ section reveals dark hidden depths: revealing a deep understanding of self.
